Patent Litigation

We maintain a U.S. patent litigaiton practice dedicated mainly to defending our clients in U.S. district courts, before the International Trade Commission (ITC), the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and the Court of International Trade in New York. We have experience with IPR and reexamination proceedings. Representative samples of our cases are shown below. Please contact us if you need representation filing or defending a patent or trademark litigation matter.

It is increasingly common for patent holders to try and force competitors out of the market with indefensible patents, or to use indefensible patents to try and extort money from those operating lawfully in the market, particularly Chinese imports and their U.S. distributors. Amazon sellers are frequently targeted. If you believe your rights in patents or other intellectual property is being violated, or you are being unfairly threatened, our lawyers may be able to help you enforce your rights in the court of the United States, international tribunals (such as the World Intellectual Property Organization), or in arbitration. We have experience litigating IP disputes before U.S. district courts in many states.

We work to ensure our litigation advocacy is aligned with our clients’ financial considerations, and can provide more cost effective representation that larger firms. Often, cases are forfeited based simply on the costs of the attorney fees required to fight them when litigation cousnel at larger firms is selected.
